Description
Oppo R9s, released in October 2016 (also known as the Oppo F1 Plus in some regions), is an Android smartphone with a premium metal unibody design and a strong focus on camera performance. It features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (~401 ppi density) protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by an efficient octa-core 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU, paired with a substantial 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage (ROM), which is expandable up to 256GB via a hybrid dual-SIM slot. A key highlight of the device is its camera system, featuring identical high-resolution 16 MP sensors for both the rear (f/1.7 aperture, Sony IMX398 sensor with Dual PDAF for fast focusing) and the front-facing “selfie” camera (f/2.0 aperture), capable of 4K video recording. The R9s runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with Oppo’s ColorOS 3.0 interface and is equipped with a non-removable 3010 mAh Li-Po battery that supports Oppo’s proprietary VOOC Flash Charge technology, allowing for rapid charging. It also includes a fast, solid-state front-mounted fingerprint sensor and 4G LTE connectivity.
