Description
Oppo R9 Plus is a 2016 Android phablet that served as a larger, more powerful variant of the standard R9 model, focusing on a bigger display and enhanced battery life.
The device features a large 6.0-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (~367 ppi density) and narrow bezels. It is powered by a more robust octa-core 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU, paired with a substantial 4 GB of RAM and options for 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage (ROM), which can be expanded by up to 128GB using a hybrid dual-SIM slot.
The R9 Plus significantly upgraded the camera specifications compared to its smaller sibling, featuring a high-resolution 16 MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), and an LED flash, alongside the same high-resolution 16 MP front-facing “selfie” camera (f/2.0 aperture). It runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), upgradable to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), with Oppo’s ColorOS 3.0 interface. The phone includes a much larger non-removable 4120 mAh Li-Po battery that supports Oppo’s efficient VOOC Flash Charge technology. It also features a fast front-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button, 4G LTE connectivity, dual-SIM capability, and weighs 185g.
