OnePlus Nord, unveiled in July 2020 as the brand’s first mid-range smartphone in five years, offered an impressive blend of features and 5G connectivity. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and Adreno 620 GPU, a chipset that delivered solid performance and 5G capabilities. The device came in several configurations with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 internal storage, including a 6 GB RAM/64 GB storage variant (exclusive to India), an 8 GB RAM/128 GB storage option, and a top-tier model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. A key selling point was its fluid 6.44-inch Fluid AMOLED display featuring a 90Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. For photography, the Nord packed a versatile quad-camera system on the rear, consisting of a 48 MP main sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, a 5 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro lens. It also uniquely featured a dual-camera setup on the front with a 32 MP main and an 8 MP ultrawide sensor. The phone is powered by a non-removable 4,115 mAh battery and supports 30W Warp Charge 30T fast charging, capable of reaching 70% in 30 minutes. It launched with OxygenOS based on Android 10 and included an in-display fingerprint sensor and NFC functionality, but notably lacked a 3.5mm headphone jack.
