The iPhone 5S, introduced in September 2013, maintained the
4-inch Retina display (1136×640 pixels at 326 ppi) of its predecessor but introduced key new features like the Touch ID fingerprint sensor built into the home button and the groundbreaking 64-bit Apple A7 processor. It included 1GB of RAM and storage options of 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. The camera was an improved 8-megapixel iSight camera with a larger ƒ/2.2 aperture, dual “True Tone” LED flash, and support for 1080p HD video recording at 30 fps and slow-motion video at 120 fps. Connectivity options included Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, and LTE support, and it launched with iOS 7.
