OnePlus 8, unveiled in April 2020, is a premium smartphone featuring 5G connectivity and a sleek design with an aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both the front and back. It is powered by the flagship octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and Adreno 650 GPU. The device was available with either 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage, which is non-expandable. It boasts an immersive 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The rear camera system consists of a triple-lens setup: a 48 MP main sensor with OIS, a 16 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro lens. For selfies, it has a 16 MP front-facing camera in a punch-hole cutout. A non-removable 4,300 mAh battery powers the phone, supporting 30W Warp Charge 30T fast charging. The OnePlus 8 launched with OxygenOS based on Android 10 and includes an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, a USB Type-C port, and NFC functionality.
