The OnePlus X, a notable release from October 2015, presents a compact yet robust set of specifications housed in a premium glass-and-metal design. The device is powered by the capable, albeit aging,Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor running at 2.3 GHz, paired with an Adreno 330 GPU. It includes 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal eMMC v5.0 storage (ROM), which can be expanded using the hybrid microSD/second SIM card slot. It offers a vibrant viewing experience on its 5.0-inch AMOLED Full HD display (1080p resolution, ~441 ppi density) protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Camera capabilities include a 13MP rear shooter with phase detection autofocus and an 8MP front camera. The entire system runs on a 2,525 mAh battery and originally launched with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop (upgradable to Marshmallow).
