It was powered by the industry-first 7-nanometer Apple A12 Bionic chip with a next-generation Neural Engine and 4GB of RAM, delivering enhanced performance and efficiency. The device adopted an improved IP68 water and dust resistance rating and enabled faster wireless charging. The enhanced dual 12-megapixel rear camera system featured Smart HDR, dual OIS, 2x optical zoom, and adjustable depth of field in Portrait mode, while the front housed a 7-megapixel TrueDepth camera with Face ID facial recognition. It supported dual-SIM functionality via a nano-SIM and eSIM, and was available in 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options.
