OnePlus 8 Pro, released in April 2020, is a high-end, 5G-enabled flagship smartphone with an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. It is powered by the flagship octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and Adreno 650 GPU, featuring a sophisticated liquid cooling system. The device came in configurations with either 8 GB or 12 GB of faster LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage which is not expandable. A key feature is the immersive 6.78-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a sharp QHD+ resolution (1440 x 3168 pixels) and a very smooth 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. For photography, it features a versatile quad-camera system on the rear, including a 48 MP main sensor with OIS, a 48 MP ultrawide sensor, an 8 MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom, and a 5 MP color filter camera. It is powered by a non-removable 4,510 mAh battery which supports 30W wired fast charging (Warp Charge 30T) as well as 30W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, a first for the brand. The phone launched with OxygenOS based on Android 10 and includes an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a USB Type-C port, and NFC functionality.
