The iPhone 8 Plus, released in September 2017, featured a durable all-glass and aluminum design that introduced
Qi wireless charging capability. It was powered by the powerful hexa-core Apple A11 Bionic chip and included 3GB of RAM. The device featured a large 5.5-inch Retina HD display (1920×1080 pixels) with True Tone technology. The dual 12-megapixel rear camera system was enhanced, offering improved optical image stabilization (OIS) on the wide lens, better “Portrait Mode” effects with the addition of “Portrait Lighting,” and 4K video recording at up to 60 fps. It included stereo speakers, IP67 water and dust resistance, a Touch ID sensor, and launched with iOS 11.
